Unicell Pea Fiber is a natural vegetable food fiber derived from the hull of pea pods. It blends easily with other ingredients and can be used as fillers and also as a reduced calorie bulking agent. Due to its fine particle size, pea fiber can be used in a wide variety of applications, ranging from bakery product to injected meats. Its natural high dietary fiber content can enhance the nutritional profiles of final products. There are two types of Unicell Pea Fibers: PE50M and PE50i. PE50M is white to light yellow in colour while PE50i is white to off-white in colour. Both have slight flavour and odour characteristic to those of peas.
